Book Launch & Adelaide Zoo Exhibition

I would firstly like to thank you for taking an interest in my work, it really means a lot to me.
Please feel free to forward this newsletter on to anyone who may be interested.

I'd like to firstly mention my new logo  (I designed) which is an ode to the Yellow-Tail Black Cockatoo.
Most of you know I am a wildlife carer, well for the last 4 months I have been raising a Yellow-Tail named Opal.  She was separated from her parents, very sick and nearly didn't make it.  She's on the road to recovery, you can view her video on YouTube

My Feathered Heads exhibition opened last week at Adelaide Zoo, I added a few more birds to the collection, including Opal, Noisy Pitta & Casper my Cockatoo.  It runs until Sunday 11th October.

My Bonny Book is now available to buy from Wild Dog Books, you can also buy it from my website where I will personally sign it and donate $2.50 to my Wildlife Rescue charity WIRES.

In July I went to Adelaide for the launch of the Australian Geographic ANZANG Nature Photographer of the year.  It was a great night to catch up with old friends. I didn't win, but I'm extremely proud to have my image in the exhibition, which I feel conveys a very important message about tree netting. This image is also part of a group exhibition at the California Academy of Sciences (San Francisco).

In other news, I was very surprised to win the Epson Professional Photography Awards for Photography Book of the year.  This was for my exhibition book "Feathered Heads", I am now working on the second edition which will be for sale very soon.

Thanks so much for reading.
