Wildlife Rescue

 

It has been a very busy season for wildlife rescue.  I have been inundated with baby birds as well as injured birds, especially cockatoos.  I was happy to release a juvenile cockatoo recently.  He had been separated from his family and was found in Sydney's Circular Quay.  I looked after him for 10 days (assist feeding him as he would still be reliant on his parents) and successfully reunited him with his family at the Botanical Gardens. The release is always the best part!
