The Victorian Electricity Retailer Christmas cut-off time is approaching fast. Paperwork that is submitted after the cut-off dates should still be processed however the likelihood of the job being completed is reduced significantly.

AS/NZS 3000:2016 - The Wiring Rules
AS/NZS 3000:2016 - The Wiring Rules will be released for public comment in the next month or so. It is important that you make yourself aware of any proposed changes and provide comment if you believe there is a need to. It is expected that the new edition will be released in late 2016.
Victorian Service and Installation Rules 2014 - Amendment 1
The VSIR’s are due to release Amendment 1 soon. This amendment will be mostly editorial although there may be changes to the embedded generator section in Section 6 due to bring it in line with the changes in AS/NZS 5033 & 4777. Keep an eye on the VSIR website for the amendment and remember the 2014 version of the Rules are free to download.
