May 2016
I would firstly like to thank you for taking an interest in my work, it really means a lot to me.

In this "shout-out" I have booking information for my upcoming Head On Photo festival animal/bird portraiture workshop, as well as a free talk & National Bird Week exhibition announcement.

Free Talk

I have been invited by Head On to conduct a free lunchtime talk especially for the festival.  I will be bringing Casper my Cockatoo and you will have the opportunity to take studio portraits of him.
My talk will be about how certain images and projects came about and how my wildlife rescue work inspired my photography.

Workshop

You can now book my special Head On Photo Festival class.
I have teamed up with Australian Wildlife Displays to hold a unique macro/portrait photography workshop.
I will share my award-winning techniques using continuous lighting & daylight which you will have the opportunity to try out on a cockatoo, Tawny Frogmouth, Lizard, Snake, Crocodile, Stick insects, Scorpion and a large spider!

I will also talk about my techniques in the field and the importance of shooting to high ethics when you are working with wildlife.

I can guarantee you will walk away with some stunning shots and get closer than you’ve ever been to some of Australia’s most iconic fauna.

Mother's Day Promo

I have launched my new shop and released some new images.
To celebrate Mother's day I am offering a 10% discount code.  Just apply the code MADAY16 at checkout.  Expires 8th May.

Lastly I will exhibiting again for BirdLife Australia's National Bird Week.  This year it will be at Platform 72 and I am curating and involving other bird photographers & artists.  I will have full details next month!

Thanks so much for taking the time to read my news.
