NIH - Integration and Validation of Emerging Technologies to Accelerate Cancer Research
The goal is to support research projects offering new technical capabilities for cancer research and clinical oncology. Proposals must address one of the following:
- Enhanced experimental and analytical capabilities addressing complexities of cancer development
- New capabilities advancing precise clinical diagnosis of cancer patients
- Novel predictive ex vivo and/or in silico modeling approaches
- New technologies/approaches to improve biospecimen and data quality

DARPA is seeking the unique use and/or development of technologies that will give American forces an advantage in battlefield situations.
Proposers are strongly encouraged to submit a one page executive summary (via the DARPA website) prior to formal proposal abstracts or full proposals.

March of Dimes Research Grants 2018 - Letter of Intent
The mission of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. This encompasses basic biological processes governing differentiation and development involving both human and animal model systems, genetics and genomics of these processes, clinical studies, reproductive health and environmental toxicology.

The United States-Israel Educational Foundation - scholarship program for post-doctoral American researchers. Exchange Program between Israel and the United States.
The Foundation plans to grant eight postdoctoral fellowships to American researchers who will study in Israel during the academic years 2018-2019 or 2019-2020. The selected researchers will receive Fulbright scholarships of $40,000 ($20,000 per year), in addition to a grant from the host institution.

E-Rare is organizing a workshop on data sharing and harmonization in order to better foster the process of sharing and harmonization as well as to allow open discussion on further needs. E-Rare has gathered top specialists in the field who will present not only the latest update on the state-of-the-art but also available tools, including hands-on practical session. This workshop will be organized back to back to the RD-Connect, NeurOmics and EURenOmics meeting.
