NSF-BSF Program EDGE (Enabling Discovery through Genomic Tools)

EDGE will support projects that aim to develop functional genomic tools and

The Spencer Foundation - Small Research Grants
 
The Small Research Grants program is intended to support education research projects with budgets of $50,000 or less. In keeping with the Spencer Foundation’s mission, this program aims to fund academic work that will contribute to the improvement of education, broadly conceived.

Research-Practice Partnership Program
This program accepts proposals with budgets up to $400,000 seeking to strengthen existing research-practice partnerships (RPPs). RPPs are a novel model for conducting relevant and useful research and facilitating the long-term accumulation of knowledge about education policy and practice.

Muscular Dystrophy Foundation - Discovery Research (LOI)
 
Discovery  research includes the search for understanding the causes of disease,
unraveling pathways involved in disease, identifying novel drug targets, and  testing new strategies to treat disease. The goal for discovery research is to  form a solid foundation which informs and accelerates all subsequent drug  development. Available tracks:

Israel Institute for Advanced Studies (IIAS)-  Call for Pre- Proposals for Research Groups at the IIAS
 
Each Collaborative Research Group (RGs) hosts a group  of scholars from Israel and abroad who convene in residency at the IIAS in  Jerusalem.
The goal of the RG selection is to bring together a  diverse group of scholars who are engaged in a research question, one that is  expected to benefit from integrative thinking and rich dialogue among scholars.  RGs are expected to expand the research of individual fellows.  Interdisciplinary and cross-fertilization, with genuine complementary of scholarship, is considered.

Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions - From Association to Participation
 
Israeli companies and institutions can collaborate with academic and research bodies to upgrade their research capabilities and  innovation,  receive access to existing equipment within Academia and integrate skilled  academic researchers into company research projects. 
In  addition, the program allows outstanding researchers to gain international  experience and training, and promotes successful integration  into academia, industry and other bodies involved in research and innovation. 
 
Researchers,  companies and Israeli organizations are invited to the seminar to hear a  variety of different tracks to receive funding for this program.
