The Ministry of Science, Technology and Space : Call for joint Israeli-French Proposals PRC 2018-2020
 
The Ministry of Science, Technology and Space and France’s Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) have published a Call for Proposals in the framework of scientific cooperation between France and Israel : PRC 2018-2020.
Funds will provide financial support for research projects involving two teams, one in a CNRS-affiliated laboratory and the other in Israel.

The Israel Cancer Association will awards grants for the year 2018 in the following fields:
  • Clinical research
  • Basic research
  • A study combining aspects of clinical and basic research
  • Research in epidemiology and epidemiology-genetics 
  • Research in the behavior of cancer patients with various diseases.
  • Research in Personalized Medicine 
The research grants will be NIS 75,000 for two years or NIS 45,000 for one year.  In addition, two special grants will be granted in the following areas:
  •  A research grant of NIS 180,000 for two years on the subject of environmental and/or epidemiological factors and their impact on the development of cancer. The scholarship is funded by the Israel Ya'akov and Lila Alter Foundation.
  • A research grant for researchers who will cooperate with a Dutch researcher. The scholarship is funded through a donation from the Netherlands. The original copy of the application must be accompanied by a letter stating the name of the Dutch researcher and institution with whom the cooperation was achieved.

Israel Medical Corps 2018 Call for Pre-Proposals
 
Maafat has issued a call for preliminary proposals  for research that will contribute to the advancement of military medicine and to the health of those serving in the IDF in all areas of military medicine, health professions, health sciences, and biomedical sciences.
 
The main emphasis is: research in saving lives (including technologies), subterranean medical issues, empowerment of the combat soldier (physical and mental), multi-disciplinary issues (a combination of medicine with technologies / engineering).

Ovarian Cancer Research Program Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP)

CDMRP support patient-centered research to prevent, detect, treat, and cure ovarian cancer. Although not required, it is encouraged to address one of the following areas: Novel therapies and associated predictive biomarkers, Non-invasive surveillance and assessment of disease, Treatment resistance, Immunotherapy, Etiology, epidemiology, and prevention, Early detection, Rare subtypes, Host-tumor interactions, Survivorship and quality of life.

NEW: Institute for Peace & Dialogue - collaboration activities

The Institute for Peace & Dialogue, an organization based in Switzerland, invites applications to participate in one of its Summer Programs or its 3 Month CAS-Research Program.
 
The substance of the Summer Schools: IPD staff will share with you professional and academic skills about Peacebuilding, Conflict Resolution, Mediation, Security, Intercultural Dialogue & Human Rights topics.  The main goal of the 3 Month CAS-Research Program is to develop the research skills of the participants and to closely acquaintance them with relevant Swiss state, public and private Institutes.
