NIH - Metabolic Reprogramming to Improve Immunotherapy

Applications for this call will generate a mechanistic understanding of the metabolic processes that support robust anti-tumor immune responses in vivo and determine how the metabolic landscape of the tumor microenvironment affects immune effector functions.

DARPA - Biological Technologies Office (BTO)

The mission of BTO is to foster, demonstrate, and transition breakthrough fundamental research, discoveries, and applications that integrate biology, engineering, computer science, mathematics, and the physical sciences. Its investment portfolio includes areas of research such as human-machine interfaces, microbes as. production platforms, and deep exploration of the impact of evolving ecologies and environments on U.S. readiness and capabilities. Specific areas of interest are enumerated in the attachment.

ALS Association - Translational Research Advancing Therapy for ALS (Letter of Intent)
 
This call supports the preclinical assessment of therapeutics for ALS. The proposed studies are expected to be product-driven and focused on therapeutics.
It is anticipated that the agents and/or data generated from these awards will lead to the advancement of new therapies for ALS.

European Graphene Flagship – call for Expressions of Interest
 
The European Graphene Flagship has published a call for “Expressions of Interest” (EoI) directed at parties being interested in becoming Flagship members.  The selected new partners will be incorporated in the scientific and technological work packages under the Horizon 2020 Graphene Flagship.
The prime purpose of the call is to attract new partners who bring experience or capabilities in specific technology transfers and complement the present consortium. The partners are mainly being sought from industry, but applicable research projects from academia that are well advanced will be considered.
