Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA)
 
IARPA invests in high-risk, high-payoff research that has  the potential to provide an overwhelming intelligence advantage.  In order to avoid the preparation and review of proposals  that are not aligned with IARPA’s mission, PIs are strongly encouraged  to discuss their ideas with the Program Manager via email.

EMBO (European Molecular Biology Organization)- Young Investigator Award
 
EMBO promotes excellence in the life sciences. Its main goal is to support talented researchers at all stages of their careers.  
Eligibility- see page 3 in the Application guidelines
Funding is also available to organize conferences, EMBO | EMBL Symposia, workshops, EMBO | FEBS Lecture Courses, Global Exchange Lecture Courses, practical courses, and keynote lectures.
Travel grants support the attendance of participants from countries with less-developed scientific infrastructures. EMBO assists the organizer with the design of a poster, set-up of a website and registration system, and with promotion of the event.

The Chief Scientist of the Israel Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has issued two joint calls for researchers who work in industry.

The purpose of the call is to create a national research infrastructure in the field of Nanotechnology for various aspects in agriculture.
 
Nitzan- "Noah's Ark" – Nanotechnology applications in agriculture – 2017
 
The call will focus on the following fields:
1. Plant Protection
2. Fertilization, nutrients and horticultural treatments:

4. Animal vaccinations
5. Utilization of agricultural waste

Pre-announcement from CDMRP - Prostate Cancer Research Program
 
Defense Health Program has released information regarding the Prostate Cancer Research Program in several grant tracks as a pre-announcement to allow investigators time to plan and develop ideas for submission to the anticipated FY17 funding opportunities.
Only when the Program Announcements is released, will we be able to determine the applicable timetable for submission and final eligibility requirements.
