February 7, 2018 Researchers who have an active BSF can submit a proposal on a different topic. Researchers who already have an NSF-BSF, or an application pending, cannot submit.

NEW - ESCMID European Society in Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases
Young Investigator Grant helps young outstanding investigators pursue ground-breaking research in the fields of clinical microbiology and infectious diseases. Call covers only projects dealing with Bacterial Infections & Diseases (incl. diagnostics, pathogenesis, antibacterial susceptibility & resistance, antibacterial stewardship, vaccines). Candidates must be born after 1 January 1978. Must have a valid Full or Young Scientist ESCMID membership – Researcher responsibility.
Budget: €20,000 per project, 13 – 15 are usually funded annually

Dr. Theresa Good, Division of Molecular and Cellular Bioscience (MCB) and Dr. Matthew D. Kane, Division of Environmental Biology (BIO/DEB) will present their Divisions upcoming calls, but will also address general issues related to writing a successful BSF-NSF application.

The editors of the Scientific Publications team are pleased to present a seminar on grant writing.
The seminar will focus on writing proposals – mainly for ISF, and, in brief, for BSF and GIF – and will be held on the following dates (Please check the RDA’s Weekly for updates):
