For your convenience, we have prepared a document for you to assist you in reviewing your proposal to ensure that all critical and essential administrative aspects have been included. In this way, we hope to improve the submission process.
 
 
Registration for submission of proposals can be made only by means of this system. Please note, researchers who wish to submit proposals and have not as yet opened an account, must set up a user account on the site and perform data validation. All researchers must register in advance to receive access to their account details.

Opening an account at the Fund is NOT registration for submission.
 
Registration Deadline:
The deadlines for registration are listed in the table below. After these dates, it will no longer be possible to register new submissions, but only to continue to work on the submissions for which the registration had been made earlier.
 
Submission Deadline at the RDA:
The deadline for submission of proposals are listed in the table below.  
 
 
Any proposal submitted after this time will be the responsibility of the researcher alone.

6 NSF-BSF calls that are related to Life Sciences/Bioengineering have been published, and an additional call on Computation Neuroscience is anticipated.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development - The Israel Gene Bank Fund 2017

The Gene Bank Fund has opened a call for proposals for 2017.
The main objectives are the preservation of a variety of selected plant species, and the treatment of genetic reservoirs.

If you are interested in submitting a proposal, please inform the RDA ASAP.
The deadline for submission is immediately after the Sukkot recess.

Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation - Grand Challenges Explorations

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation initiated Round 20 of the Grand Challenges Exploration program that fosters early-stage discovery research to expand the pipeline of ideas for solving our greatest global health and development challenges.
The following topics are:
  • Innovations for Integrated Diagnostics Systems
  • Healthy Minds for Adolescent Mothers: Achieving Healthy Outcomes for the Family 
  • Novel Approaches for Improving Timeliness of Routine Immunization Birthdose and Healthcare Worker Skill in Low-Resource Settings 
Two-Phase Grant Mechanism: 2-page proposal for grants in Phase I of US $100,000 each, and projects showing promise will have the opportunity to apply in Phase II for additional funding of up to US $1 million.

The most significant EU event for the ICT community 
ICT Proposers Day 2017   
 
November 9-10, 2017, Budapest, Hungary 
 
The event will focus on networking for the Horizon 2020 ICT and FET Work Programme 2018-2020, and will cover:

  4. Content technologies and information management

  6. Micro and nano-electronic technologies, Photonics
The structure of the event will parallel that of the ICT Work Programme and will be attended by the EC officials responsible for those areas, parties who have had funded projects within it, and those who are looking to become part of future projects.

Conferences at the Israel Institute for Advanced Studies (IIAS)
 
Scholars and scientists from academic institutions in Israel and abroad are invited to submit a proposal for a conference to be sponsored and hosted at the IIAS. All research topics and fields of study are eligible. 
Some of the conferences are jointly sponsored with the Israel Science Foundation (ISF).
 

Please note that any contact (including any contracts) with the IIAS is the responsibility of the researcher and not of the RDA, or any other University Authority.
