Joint call - Arizona State University - Ben-Gurion University in Environmental Sciences
The purpose of this call is to generate bi-lateral research proposals in Environmental Sciences with the expectation that they will serve as the basis for eventual submissions to international funding programs.
It is anticipated that 2 proposals, each with (an equally divided) budget of $40,000, and a duration of 1 year, will be approved.

Research Cooperation Lower Saxony – Israel
Funding is provided for scientifically outstanding projects conducted jointly by researchers from both Israel and from Lower Saxony. The cooperation has to be justified coherently and explained in its design.
The funding program addresses different disciplines in different years:
2017: Humanities and Social Sciences 2018: Biological and Life Sciences, Medicine 2019: Natural Sciences, Mathematics, Engineering Sciences
It is possible to apply for interdisciplinary projects. The thematic focus of such projects has to lie in the disciplines addressed in the given year.

Horizon 2020 – Draft Environment Work Programs
Climate action, environment, resource efficiency, and raw materials
The RDA has received a new draft of the Environment Work Program with the following focus areas:
1. Building a low-carbon, climate resilient future:
- Decarbonisation
- Climate adaptation, impacts and services
- Inter-relations between climate change, biodiversity and ecosystem services
- Cryosphere etc.
2. Greening the economy:
- The circular economy
- Raw materials
- Water for our environment, economy, and society
- Innovating cities for sustainability and resilience
- Protecting and leveraging the value of our natural and cultural assets

H2020 SC5 Info Day (Climate Action, Environment, Resource Efficiency & Raw Materials), towards the 2018 work program
The Info Day targets potential applicants to the 2018-2020 calls for project proposals under the Horizon 2020 Challenge 5 "Climate Action, Environment, Resource Efficiency and Raw Materials".
The event is free of charge, but registration for the event is compulsory via the following registration link. The event will be web-streamed.
