National Institute for Psychobiology in Israel (NIPI) - Young Investigator Grant Program

The Institute supports research in brain and  behavioral sciences that has direct relevance to basic and clinical  psychobiology. 
The grant is aimed at young researchers,  i.e., holders of a Ph.D. or M.D degree with appointments of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer (up to 3 years after the initial appointment to Senior Lecturer). NIPI will support research up to $15,000 per annum. 
An additional funding track is available for a joint proposal, submitted by both a basic and clinical young researcher. NIPI will support research up to $30,000 per annum. 
 
Matching funds are optional and can be reported from the researcher's own funding.

CURE - Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy – 2018 Funding Cycle (Letter of Intent)

CURE awards grants for novel research projects that address finding the cure for epilepsy. Currently there are 2 available funding tracks:

U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (USAMRMC) - Call for Pre-Proposals

The USAMRMC mission is to provide solutions to medical problems of importance to American service members both in the USA and abroad. The scope of this effort and the priorities attached to specific projects are influenced by changes in military and civilian medical science and technology, operational requirements, military threat assessments, and national defense strategies.

The program description includes Military Infectious Diseases Research, Combat Casualty Care Research, Medical Biological Defense Research and etc.
