Joint NSFC-ISF Research Grant
The program promotes research collaboration between Israeli and Chinese scientists, with support provided by an agreement between the Israel Science Foundation (ISF) and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC).
Areas of research for this year are:
Life Sciences and Medical Sciences Cluster: Life Sciences Bioinformatics; Microbiology; Cell and Developmental biology; Immunology; Biochemistry; Molecular biology; Neurobiology and Cognitive psychology; Zoology; Ecology; Marine Biology; Agriculture and Plant sciences Medical Sciences Neurodegenerative diseases; Cancer; Cardiovascular diseases; Infection and Immunity; Materia medica and Pharmacology, Hematopoiesis and Blood diseases.

Joint Transnational Call for Proposals in Nanomedicine 2018
The Israel Ministry of Health and EuroNanoMed have published a call for proposals on the following Nano-med topics:
Diagnostics; Targeted Drug Delivery; Regenerative Medicine.
There will be a two-stage submission procedure for joint applications: pre-proposals and full proposals.

ERANet-LAC 3rd Multi-Thematic Joint Call 2017/2018
The Israel Ministry of Health and EU-LAC (Community of Latin American and Caribbean States) Health have officially published a call for proposals on the following topic: “Infectious Diseases: Early Detection Research Including Both Screening and Diagnosis”.
Each consortium submitting a proposal must involve a minimum of three eligible partner institutions from three different countries with at least one country from each region, EU and LAC.

Alzheimer’s Research UK ("ARUK")
Alzheimer’s Research UK funds research into the cause, diagnosis/detection, prevention and treatment (disease modifying and symptomatic).
Of particular importance is research that has translational potential for patient benefit.
The lead applicant and point of contact must be based in an academic/research institution, either in the UK or abroad. Co-applicants from small and medium enterprises are permitted.

Ministry of Health and E-Rare-3 Call for Proposals 2018 - Pre-announcement
The Israel Ministry of Health and E-RARE have published a pre-announcement for a call for proposals on the following topic: "Transnational research projects on hypothesis-driven use of multi-omic integrated approaches for discovery of disease causes and/or functional validation in the context of rare diseases".
There will be a two-stage submission procedure for joint applications: pre-proposals and full proposals.
The call is scheduled to open on December 7, 2017 and pre-proposals are scheduled to be submitted by February 6, 2018.

The Israel Ministry of Health and JPIAMR (Joint Programming Initiative on Antimicrobial Resistance) have published a pre-announcement of the 6th call
for innovation against antibiotic-resistant bacteria: New targets, compounds and tools.
