CIFAR invites the global research community to submit proposals for new programs that address complex, fundamental questions of importance to the world. Ideas must be novel, bold, and potentially transformative to warrant the creation of a sustained, interdisciplinary, and collaborative research program.

NATO - Science for Peace and Security

The Science for Peace and Security (SPS) Programme is a policy tool that enhances cooperation and dialogue with all partners, based on scientific research, innovation, and knowledge exchange. BGU experience shows that proposals that directly address NATO's Key Priorities have a reasonable chance of success.

Important note: NATO priority in research is for the following topics: Counter-Terrorism, Cyber Defense, Energy Security, Environmental Security and Disaster Management and Prevention.

Fritz Thyssen Foundation - Humanities, Social sciences, Biomedicine
 
The foundation supports scholars and scholarly events in the fields of the humanities, social science and biomedicine.
 
An application for both types of support (research and conferences) can be filed in the following areas: 
Interdisciplinary projects are also welcomed by  the foundation.
Please note that funding  is basically reserved for projects that have a clear connection to the German research system.
