The Israel Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has issued a call for proposals for research programs and field observations in the field of groundnuts for 2018, financed by the Council for the Marketing of Groundnuts from the R & D budget.

Ministry of Health and JPIAMR (Joint Programming Initiative on Antimicrobial Resistance) – Pre-proposals
The Israel Ministry of Health and JPIAMR have published a call for pre-proposals on the following topic: "Innovations against antibiotic-resistant bacteria: new targets, compounds and tools; Fundamental, translational research, with the exception of clinical trials.”
This call is part of ERA-NET (in cooperation with the European Union) and each consortium submitting a proposal must involve a minimum of 3 eligible partners from at least 3 different countries participating in the call (Annex A, page 8 in the Call Details).

Alzheimer’s Research UK ("ARUK") - Pilot Projects
Alzheimer’s Research UK funds research into the cause, diagnosis/detection, prevention and treatment (disease modifying and symptomatic). Of particular importance is research that has translational potential for the benefit of the patient. A lead applicant from the UK can include researchers or institutions from outside of the UK.

Prostate Cancer Foundation - 2018 Young Investigator Awards
The Prostate Cancer Foundation invests in human capital to fast-forward solutions for prostate cancer. Applications are encouraged, but not limited, to early-career basic scientists, medical oncologists, pathologists, urologists, radiologists, radiation oncologists, public health experts, bioinformaticians and bioengineers.

Europe Information Day
Horizon 2020 and other European Funding Opportunities
The RDA invites Researchers (particularly New Researchers) to learn about the European Horizon 2020 Funding Programme and other European Funding Opportunities.
The Information day will provide practical information on the Horizon 2020 program, finding the correct path and understanding how to navigate its complex system. Following the presentation there will be possibilities for one-on-one meetings with the RDA Team on specific Funding Opportunities.

HPC Europa - Free Mentoring, Training and Research at European High Performance Computing Centers
The HPC Europa 3 Transnational Access program offers a unique opportunity for students and researchers with limited or no experience using HPC to spend extended time at a major European HPC center center to train, engage in research, and gain valuable experience.
