Deadline extended and updated guidelines: Broad-ISF Collaborative Research Projects – 2018 - Letter of Intent

The Broad-ISF collaboration seeks to support joint studies of Israeli researchers, who specialize in research circuitry, with researchers from the Cell Klarman Observatory at the Broad Institute for the promotion of joint research in mammalian circuits.
The goal of the partnership is to bring together investigators across disciplines from both the Broad and Israeli institutions to tackle ambitious, large-scale projects in diverse areas of biology and biomedicine, including systems biology, precision medicine, technology development and/or with medical relevance.

The European Foundation for the Study of Diabetes (EFSD) - Diabetes Research Programme in Macrovascular Complications

EFSD and Sanofi have established a new programme - the EFSD/Sanofi European Diabetes Research Programme in Macrovascular Complications - to encourage new projects aimed at advancing current knowledge in this field. The new programme offers grants for basic or clinical mechanistic studies.

The Max van Berchem Foundation - Humanities and Social Sciences Grant Applications

The foundation, whose goal is to promote the study of Islamic and Arabic archaeology, history, geography, art history, epigraphy, religion, and literature, awards grants for research carried out in these areas by scholars who have already received their doctorate.

Internal Call - Multidisciplinary Research Activities

The Office of the Vice President and Dean for Research and Development and the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences have issued a call for proposals to promote and encourage multidisciplinary research activities between its members with researchers in other BGU faculties. Four such grants will be awarded.
In addition, two grants will be awarded to proposals that combine research in humanities and in the social sciences, on the condition that the proposal combines essentially different disciplines.

Up to $15,000 per project.

Horizon 2020 and PRIMA Information Day at the Sede Boqer Campus, BGU

Ayala   Karniol, Director of the Agriculture, Environment, Climate, Energy, Water and
Food Programs at ISERD and Israel’s official liaison to Europe’s Horizon 2020
Research Programme, will present the funding opportunities and open topics in
the Horizon 2020 and PRIMA programs. PRIMA - Partnership for Research and
Innovation in the Mediterranean Area program in the fields of Water,
Farming Systems and Food.
Come and learn about the funding options and meet the other interested parties in this program.

The Presentation will be followed by one-on-one meetings with Ayala and the RDA Team.
