ERA PerMed Call on Personalised Medicine - Pre-proposals
The Israel Ministry of Health and ERA PerMed have published a call for proposals on the topic of
Personalised Medicine (PM) - Smart Combination of Pre-Clinical and Clinical Research with Data and ICT Solutions
.
The aim of the call is to fund projects showing clinical feasibility of PM in complex diseases (including multifactorial, monogenic, and other diseases). Each consortium submitting a proposal must involve 3-6 eligible partners from at least 3 different countries participating in the call (under Contact Details of Participating Members).

Ministry of Health - 2018 Call for Proposals
1. Bio-medical research
The Ministry has issued a call for proposals in the field of bio-medical research. Translational research proposals in various medical fields will be accepted.
Please note: Since each institute is allowed to submit 5 applications, there will be an internal selection committee that will review pre-proposals submitted in accordance with the following format: - Project Participants: Names & Affiliations of the PIs

2. Big Data – Extension of Deadline
The Digital Health & IT Department has issued a call for proposals in the field of Big Data. The scope of the proposals is the use of advanced data processing technologies based on the Timna (Big Data Research Infrastructure) platform. The proposals should help realize the potential of data for improvements in the health system.
RDA Deadline: February 19, 2018
Please note that the agreement with the Ministry has yet to be finalized, especially in terms of overhead costs.

Nekudat Hen - 2018 Call for Pre-proposals
The program funds research and practical projects aimed at promoting agro-ecological practices in Israel.

PRIMA (Partnership for R&I in the Mediterranean Area) - Call Details and Information Day (21/02)
The PRIMA program focuses on new R&I approaches to improve water availability and sustainable agriculture production in a region heavily distressed by climate change, urbanisation and population growth.
The R&I initiatives support a common research and innovation strategy to address the diverse challenges in water scarcity, agriculture and food security.
PRIMA's expected impacts:

Environmental impacts
: biodiversiy consevation, sustainable farming practices.

Economic impacts: increase in production and efficiency, access to new markets, greater funding options and large-scale aggregate economic impacts.

Social impacts: political stability and reduced migration. Consortia must be composed of at least three independent legal entities established in three different countries considered to be PRIMA Participating States (See link to Call Details below).

: integrated and sustainable management of water for arid and semi-arid Mediterranean areas.

First Stage Deadline for submission:

Projects are expected to propose solutions to existing problems, encouraged to involve, as much as possible, a diversity of actors (SMEs, NGOs, Farmers, extension services) especially for Innovation Actions, encouraged to promote mobility and training and encouraged to integrate new technologies.
