Ministry of Science, Technology and Space - The Joint Italian-Israeli Laboratory on Space Activities for Peaceful Purposes
This Call for Proposals is addressed to scientific experiments to be conducted in the absence of gravity on remote controlled microgravity platforms. Submission is by the Italian side only, however, the RDA must first approve and sign the budget and the proposal. The Ministry will fund up to four experiments to study the effects of microgravity on various chemical, physical, biochemical, and biological processes.
Please note:

Funding is 70% from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and 30% independent funding by the researcher.
- The agreement between MOST and the Italians has yet to be finalized.

Overhead is 15%, as is customary with MOST contracts.

Glaucoma Research Foundation (GRF) - Shaffer Grants for Innovative Glaucoma Research – Pre-proposals
The foundation supports new, high-impact, clinical, epidemiological, and laboratory research based on its strategic research goals. This funding opportunity provides seed money for creative pilot research projects that hold promise in the study of glaucoma.

Upcoming Energy Brokerage Event: The EU is organizing a brokerage event dedicated to the Energy Efficiency Calls (2018-2019) that will be launched in the framework of the Energy and NMBP challenges. June 21, 2018, Paris
During the Brokerage event the calls in the main areas of the Energy Efficiency, such as: buildings, industry and services, investment, energy source and policy will be presented. In addition tips and tools to submit a good proposal will be presented, including a project coordinator's testimony.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Present their skills for a relevant project corresponding to the 2018-2019 calls
- Present their project corresponding to the 2018-2019 calls to build or finalize their consortium
- Participate in the networking sessions
