The Ministry of Science, Technology and Space - Call for Joint Israeli-French Proposals 2019-2021
 
The Ministry of Science, Technology and Space and France’s Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) have published a Call for Proposals in the framework of scientific cooperation between France and Israel: PRC (Projets de Recherche Conjoints) 2019-2021.
Funds will provide financial support for research projects involving two teams, one in a CNRS-affiliated laboratory and the other in Israel.
 
This collaboration has already produced several joint publications.

Ministry of Science, Technology and Space - The German-Israeli Battery and Electrochemistry Research Program 2018
 
The Israel Ministry of Science, Technology and Space, in cooperation with the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), has issued a Call for Proposals in the field of Battery and Electrochemistry. 
The research should focus on new materials for battery systems, supercapacitors and fuel cells and be multi-disciplinary and applicable to the needs of the field of battery systems.

NEW: City of Sderot – Employment and local development | Call for Proposals

The City of Sderot has issued a call for proposals to build a master plan for employment and local development.

The proposed study will serve the western Negev region and the settlements in the area between Ashdod and Be'er Sheva, Including the main cities.
  • The study will focus on a thorough mapping and understanding of the needs of employers and employment opportunities (low- and high-tech) both currently, and in the future. 
  • Must include recommendations on how to implement professional training and other necessary tools.

Department of Defense (DOD) Office of Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) | Research Programs

CDMRP has published its official announcements for several open programs:
RDA Deadline for Letters of Intent: June 11, 2018  or June 20, 2018 (according to the program, please check the date carefully).
RDA Deadline for Letters of Intent: June 17, 2018 or August 23, 2018 (according to the program, please check the date carefully).

Bio-Based Initiative (BBI) 
 
Europe’s Bio-Based Initiative (BBI) is about developing sustainable and competitive bio-based industries in Europe, based on advanced bio refineries that source their biomass sustainably by demonstrating new technologies, developing business models and setting-up flagship bio refinery plants.

Funding for BBI projects comes from Horizon 2020 and the European Bio-Industries Consortium.

Focus Areas for the 2018 Call :
  1. Feedstock: foster a sustainable biomass supply with increased productivity and building new supply chains
  2. Bio refineries: Optimize efficient processing through R&D and demonstrate their efficiency and economic viability at large-scale demo / flagship bi refineries.
  3. Markets, products and policies: develop markets for bio-based products and optimize policy frameworks.

The European Water Platform, WssTP is setting up a compelling agenda for Water Innovation Europe 2018 conference.
The conference will revolve around the theme

Scientific Workshop in Advanced Materials |  Israel-India 2018

The Workshop will take place on June 27-28, 2018.

The purpose of the workshop is to present the most updated scientific development of India and Israel in this field and to meet scientists, senior researchers and young investigators from both sides to build up new scientific collaboration.
