The Israel Cancer Association - Cancer Research 2019

The Association will award grants in the following fields:
  • Clinical research
  • Basic research
  • A study combining aspects of clinical and basic research
  • Research in epidemiology and epidemiology-genetics 
  • Research in the behavior of cancer patients with various diseases
  • Research in Personalized Medicine
In addition, two special grants will be granted in the following areas:
  • A research grant for two years on the subject of environmental and/or epidemiological factors and their impact on the development of cancer. 
  • A research grant for researchers who will cooperate with a Dutch researcher.

Minerva - ARCHES German-Israel Cooperation Awards

The purpose of ARCHES is to recognise and reward outstanding contributions to research as well as to strengthen German-Israeli scientific collaboration.
This year, the call focuses on all areas within the natural and engineering sciences, the life sciences, and the humanities (see page 2 of the Call Details).
 
Please note: The Principal Investigators must have completed their doctorate no earlier than 2008.
 
Nomination: The Heads of Departments of German and Israeli universities and research institutions are eligible to nominate teams that qualify for ARCHES. Direct applications by candidates are not accepted.

Keren Manof - Call for Proposals

Keren Manof, of the National Insurance Institute, has issued a call for proposals aimed at improving the safety, hygiene, and health of the worker in the workplace.
Funding may be requested for the development or the design of a comprehensive solution that reduces risks to employees, in any branch of employment.
For those interested in submitting a proposal:
  • Please notify the RDA as soon as possible of your intentions, as specific documents are required to submit the proposal.
  • The RDA is in discussion with the Foundation regarding the  Research Agreement. In the event of a final agreement between the sides, approved proposals will be activated.

JDRF - Project Concepts for Strategic Research Agreements | Letter of Intent

JDRF’s Strategic Research Agreements provide research funding for single or multiple investigators to address critical gaps and challenges and potential breakthroughs in Type 1 diabetes research.

The Leakey Foundation - Research Grants

The Leakey Foundation exclusively funds research related specifically to human origins.
The foundation's current specific funding priorities include:
  • Paleoanthropology of the Miocene, Pliocene, and Pleistocene.
  • Primates (Old and New World): Evolution, behavior, morphology, ecology, endocrinology, genetics, isotope studies, and modern hunter-gatherer groups.

Minerva-Gentner Symposia aim to initiate new collaborative efforts in any field of research that has not yet been addressed by German-Israeli cooperation.
