The Ministry of National Infrastructure, Energy and Water Resources – Energy & Earth and Sea Sciences
The Ministry has issued a call for proposals in the field of energy and earth and sea sciences. For more specific topics, please see page 4 of the Call Details.
The Ministry uses an electronic submission system, and therefore, researchers interested in submitting should anticipate electronic and/or connectivity problems. Since the submission deadline is right after the Sukkot break, interested researchers are asked to please inform the RDA immediately of their intention to submit.
Proposals must be submitted to the RDA for review by September 13, 2018 Due to the Jewish holiday break, final proposals (including copies) must reach the RDA no later than September 17, 2018 by 10 am The proposals will be sent to the Ministry on October 3, 2018

The Shalem Fund - Call for proposals - Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
The goal of the Fund is to support research proposals that offer innovation, creativity, excellence, and scientific and applied contributions to the various fields related to the subject of developmental disabilities.
Preference will be given to research proposals that meet the following criteria:
- Professional and up-to-date perceptions
- Innovation
- Cooperation between academic institutions inside and outside Israel
- A connection between theory and field work
- A Model for intervention and / or pilot program
Please note: The Shalem Fund enables researchers to submit a short, optional pre-proposal to check whether their idea is relevant to the Fund. This step is not mandatory and has no bearing on full proposal submission.

SciPub Seminar - Writing a Winning Research Grant Proposal
The editors of the Scientific Publications team are pleased to present a seminar on grant writing. The seminar will focus on writing proposals – mainly for ISF, and, in brief, for BSF and GIF – and will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 (In Hebrew).
The seminar will be held from 10:00–14:00 in the Dekel Room, 2nd floor of the Zlotowski Student Center building (near the RDA offices). Participation is open to BGU faculty members only and requires advance registration with the Scientific Publications Team.
