Any researcher who does not register by this date will not be able to submit an ISF proposal.

Broad-ISF Collaborative Research Projects – 2019 | Letter of Intent

The Broad-ISF collaboration seeks to support joint studies of Israeli researchers who specialize in research circuitry with researchers from the Cell Klarman Observatory at the Broad Institute for the promotion of joint research in mammalian circuits.
The goal of the partnership is to bring together investigators across disciplines from both the Broad and Israeli institutions to tackle ambitious, large-scale projects in diverse areas of biology and biomedicine, including systems biology, precision medicine, technology development and/or with medical relevance.

DIP - German-Israel Research collaboration | Call for Internal Pre-Proposals

DFG is the agency that funds the DIP program, which supports large-scale cutting edge collaborative research between German and Israeli scientists in all fields of research.
Each Israeli university is limited to submitting two proposals and BGU will selects its 2 via an internal pre-proposal process.
Priority will be given to the inclusion of young researchers and former proven collaboration with a German partner.

The Middle East Regional Cooperation Program (MERC) | Pre-Proposals
 
MERC funds are available for peer-reviewed collaborative applied research and technology development proposals for projects between Israel and its Arab neighbors. Most projects are within the broad areas of the natural, physical, and social sciences and engineering. Investigators are also encouraged to integrate social science approaches, economics, and the use of information technology when appropriate.

BSAC encourages applications on topics consistent with the strategy of the Society,
and from early career researchers and clinical trainees.

During the current grant cycle, the Society give priority to the following topics of research:

Horizon 2020 and other funding Opportunities -
Social Sciences and Humanities Info Day at BGU

The Horizon 2020 program  is one of the most significant programs for funding research. The overall budget for the Social Sciences and Humanities areas for the 2018-2020 Horizon Call is close to € 570M.
Please join us for a presentation on the opportunities in the Social Sciences and Humanities area of Horizon 2020 with an emphasis on the 2019 Calls.
Other relevant funding sources in the area of Social Sciences and Humanities will be presented.

Following the Presentation, researchers are welcome to request one-on-one meetings with the RDA team.

Come and learn about the funding options and meet the other interested parties in this program.

Administrative Notice - Regulations Regarding PI of Start-Up Applications

The BSF has changed its regulations regarding start-up applications as follows: A typical start-up application is by a junior PI together with a senior one. The senior PI on a start-up application may not be funded. However, s/he may submit a second application as a PI, in which s/he may request funding. Please see section (b) on the top of page 6 of the BSF Instructions and Regulations Document.

 

Space Entrepreneurial Workshop
January 22-29, 2019  
 
The Israeli Space Agency, in cooperation with the Innovation Authority of the Ministry of Economy and Industry, and the European Space Agency Business Incubation Center (BIC), is holding a Space Entrepreneurial Workshop for the first time in Israel during the 2019 Israel Space Week.

The workshop is designed for entrepreneurs who are considering establishing a start-up company that will deal with space and related fields.

The registration is on the Space Agency Website

The participants in the workshop will be entitled to receive a grant (according to the rules of the Innovation Authority's benefit track) of NIS 200,000 for financing market validation, patent registration, development from demonstrations, proof of feasibility.
