The Ministry of Science prematurely released a Call for Proposals, and has since made several changes. Please see the revised and updated CfP from MOST with its extended deadline. To any researcher who has already begun preparing their proposal, please follow the revised CfP, and make any relevant changes.
 
Clinical Trials without Patented Protection
 
The Israel Ministry of Science, Technology and Space has issued a call for proposals on the subject: Clinical trials on substances without  patent protection  
 
Please note:
  1. Because submission must be done electronically, it is imperative to be in contact with the RDA Coordinator, and follow the timetables.
  2. In the Research Data tab, after selecting the year, the call reader and the field, the type of request - Pre-proposal - must be marked.

Muscular Dystrophy Association - Discovery Research | Letter of Intent

Discovery research track includes the search for understanding the causes of disease, unraveling pathways involved in disease, identifying novel drug targets, and testing new strategies to treat disease.

The Adelis Brain Research Award for Young investigators

The Adelis Foundation invites research proposals by outstanding young investigators, whose achievements and visions in brain research would make them suitable candidates for the 2019 Adelis Brain Research Award.
 
This Award is intended for young Israeli researchers, (PhD or MD), who have held a Tenure Track academic position in an Israeli University or Research Institute, for more than one year and less than 7 years.

Breakthrough innovation in detection and imaging technologies
ATTRACT – Open Call for Proposals 2018

ATTRACT is calling for researchers, entrepreneurs and companies to propose
breakthrough projects on pioneering imaging and sensor technologies .

The ATTRACT Project will fund 170 breakthrough technology concepts in the domain of detection and imaging technologies across Europe. The projects will be awarded €100,000 each in seed funding to carry out their idea.

Proposals for projects are requested in the following domains: sensors, front and back end electronics, data acquisition systems and computing, software and integration.
The goal of ATTRACT is to transform breakthrough technologies developed for fundamental research purposes into breakthrough innovations that can be turned into sound industrial applications and provide added value for society.

Breakthrough proposals, meaning highly novel technology concepts, or combinations of existing technology concepts, that lead to a significant increase in performance or usability with respect to existing concepts. They also have the potential to create an entire new range of applications and markets that can change our society.

Detection & imaging technologies affect all major technology areas:
- Advanced Manufacturing
- Medical devices and imaging
- Life Sciences & biotechnology
- Clean & green technology
- Sensors & automation
- Materials & coating
- Conventional energy
- Information & communication
- Microelectronics

Project proposals are to be jointly submitted by groups of
at least two independent partners (can be from the same country). A legal entity may participate in more than one proposal across the above domains, and the same group of participants may submit more than one project proposal in the same or other domains.
