Change of Course – Exploring New Research Territories between the Life Sciences and Science or Engineering - Proposal Outlines
 
This funding initiative aims to support projects in research fields that require an interdisciplinary approach. The funding will support an additional qualification of the team, which will be motivated by a topic with an overlap of mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, technology on the one hand, and life sciences on the other.

Potential research areas: cognitive computing, immunophysics and immunoengineering, nanotechnologies, molecular bioengineering and hybrid devices, bioelectronics, biofabrication and bio-inspired energy conversion.

Please note, research projects must be led by a German researcher.

Israel-France High Council for Science and Technology Research
Israel-France Status Seminars  
 
The Israeli Ministry of Science and Technology, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the French Embassy in Israel invite scientists to two Status Seminars on:
  1. Ageing, Immunity and Cancer
  2. Climate, Change Impacts
The aim of these workshops is to support the development of scientific and technological cooperation between French and Israeli researchers and to strengthen the scientific partnership between research groups from both countries by establishing bilateral research-networks, enhancing research cooperation and promoting the exchange of knowledge between Israeli and French scientists.
