NSF-BSF Chemical, Bioengineering, Environmental, and Transport Systems Program 
 
The NSF-BSF Chemical Engineering, with the Chemical, Bio-engineering, Environmental and Transport Systems (CBET) Program, supports applications in four core clusters:

These programs have no deadlines and submission is welcome throughout the year.

HDHL-INTIMIC Call for Joint Transnational Research Pre-Proposals: 
“Impact of Diet, Food Components and Food Processing on Body Weight Regulation and Overweight Related Metabolic Diseases (METADIS)”
 
The Ministry of Science, Technology and Space, together with JPI HDHL (part of Horizon 2020) have released a joint call.
The aim of this call is to support transnational, collaborative research projects that address important research questions regarding the effects of food (components) or diets and/or food processing on overweight and related metabolic diseases.
Each consortium submitting a proposal must involve researchers from a minimum of 3 different countries participating in the call (see page 6 in the call details). 
 
An additional objective is to support Early Career Scientists in the area of food, nutrition and health.
 
Note:  Proposals must include training of Early Career Scientists (ECSs i.e., PhD students or/and post-docs – please refer to National Annexes).

The Ministry of Environment, through the Chief Scientist Office, has issued a Call for Proposals on the following topic:

Horizon 2020 – FUEL CELLS & HYDROGEN- Call for Proposals
 
The European Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Program (under Horizon 2020 Scheme) has issued its 2019 Call for proposals.
Most of the FCH JU funded projects are collaborative projects with at least 3 organisations from different EU Member States or Associated countries.

The Max van Berchem Foundation - Humanities and Social Sciences
 
The goal of the Foundation is to promote the study of Islamic and Arabic archaeology, history, geography, art history, epigraphy, religion, and literature.
The Foundation awards grants for research carried out in these areas by scholars who have already received their doctorate.
