Call for Proposals

BSF-NSF: Increased Availability  of Funding for Submissions without a Deadline

BSF-NSF is a unique opportunity to advance research and collaboration with your US partner.
Applications that will be reviewed until the summer (June-July) and found as appropriate for funding will be approved and budgeted this year (2019).
Applications that will be reviewed after that time and found as appropriate for funding will be approved only in the next budget year (2020).

Due to a low submission rate, without any changes in the Foundation's budgets, chances of being funded have increased. Therefore, RDA urges you to check this funding scheme with your US partner.

Horizon 2020 Spotlight

Horizon 2020 – Next Generation Internet Initiative (NGI)

Next Generation Internet Initiative (NGI) will provide support to researchers from outstanding academic research groups, hi-tech startups and SMEs . Topics should contribute to the evolution of an Internet that is more open, trusted, secure and inclusive.  Funding will be allocated using short research cycles targeting the most promising ideas.
The collection of third party projects contributes towards a significant advancement of the research and innovation in the NGI domain.  The focus will be on advanced research,  concepts and technologies that are linked to relevant use cases and that can be brought quickly to the market and   to the society; applications and services that innovate without a research component are not covered by this model.
