Call for Proposals
NSF-BSF Program Cyber Security and Privacy
 
The NSF-BSF is accepting applications in the joint funding program in Cyber Security and Privacy (SaTC), with the Directorate for Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE) of the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF).
The Secure and Trustworthy Cyberspace (SaTC) program welcomes proposals that address cyber-security from:
  • a Trustworthy Computing Systems (TWC) perspective and/or a Social, Behavioral and Economic Sciences (SBE) perspective;
  • the Secure, Trustworthy, Assured and Resilient Semiconductors and Systems (STARSS) perspective; or
  • the Transition to Practice (TTP) perspective.
 
These programs have no deadlines and submission is welcome throughout the year.  
Note: this situation  has resulted in a decrease in applications and thus an increase in the success rate.

NATO - Science for Peace and Security Programme

The Science for Peace and Security (SPS) Programme is a policy tool that  enhances cooperation and dialogue with all partners, based on scientific  research, innovation, and knowledge exchange.  

NATO's priority in research is in the following topics: Counter-Terrorism, Energy Security, Cyber Defense, Environmental Security, Disaster Management  and Prevention, and more. Any application must directly address at least one of  the SPS Key Priorities and have a clear link to security.

Applications must be made by project directors from at least one NATO Member Country and one Co-Director from a NATO Partner Country.

The Israel Administration for the Development of Weapons and Technological Infrastructure (MAFAT) – Communications in security systems
 
Mafat has issued a call for proposals that will promote theoretical / practical research in the fields of communications, as a basis for advancing technologies for future implementation.

Internal Call - Multidisciplinary Research in Neuroscience
 
 
The Office of the Vice President and Dean for R&D invites submissions of multidisciplinary research proposals in the field of Neuroscience.
 
The aim of this call is to generate new research and collaborations and to establish the basis for submitting applications to external funding sources.

Internal Call - Marcus Postdoctoral Fellowships in Water Sciences - Fall 2019
 
The Office of the Vice President and Dean for R&D will award exceptional young researchers postdoctoral fellowships in water science under the mentorship of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev faculty members.
The goal of these fellowships is to explore new research directions in water sciences and the intersection of water science with agriculture, nanotechnology, desert studies, food, water, human health and the environment.
Addressed to Non-BGU students only.   Candidates who were, or are currently students of BGU are not eligible!

Ms. Talia Passiar, Head  of Sector Secure Societies at ISERD and Israel’s official liaison to Europe’s  Horizon 2020 Research Programme, will present the funding opportunities and  open topics in SECURITY:
