8/13: Plucky Strum performing at AHA! In New Bedford
The summer tradition continues! Centre Street Sessions: Guitars, Mostly presented by Whaling City Sound and Fiber Optic Center, Inc. This month's performers are Plucky Strum: Sheryl Bailey, acoustic guitar and Harvie S, acoustic bass. In the Kaller Beef Building parking lot on Centre Street. Sets at 5:30 & 7:15pm. Rain location: BayCoast Bank Free Event. No Ticket Required.

8/21: Expansions: The Dave Liebman Group at Levitt Pavilion
NEA Jazz Master Dave Liebman's new group looks towards the present generation of jazz musicians who have been schooled in conservatory and university settings. "EXPANSIONS" features the up and coming pianist Bobby Avey, reedman Matt Vashlishan, drummer Alex Ritz and a continuation of Lieb's long relationship with bassist Tony Marino. Dave Liebman, a multiple Grammy nominee, has performed on more than 500 recordings.
9/11/2015: Expansions: The Dave Liebman Group to release new album; "The Puzzle"
Expansions will be releasing a new album entitled, "The Puzzle" in September! Seeking to "solve the puzzle"of worthwhile song construction, Liebman and the gang will hope to deliver nothing but the best with this upcoming release!
9/11/2015: Gerry Gibbs, Kenny Baron and Ron Carter + guests to release Live album
Thrasher Dream Trio will be following two #1 albums with a live studio album to be released on WCS this year. The concept is a bit new to the genre, the trio, accompanied by the several surprise guests will be covering Top 40 hits from various decades that have not been touched by the Jazz genre. We're all very excited for this release and cannot wait to share with you.
